Having worked the majority of my life transitioning to retirement can be seemingly overwhelming with all of the health care options. Sharon from Senior Health Connections devoted tremendous time to simplify the process of selecting insurance coverage. This enabled me to chose coverage that was best suited for my my needs today. I am a single woman in my mid-seventies, who is easily confused about Medicare Parts A, B & D, Medigap Plan B supplemental health insurance, advantage plans, etc. I have consulted with Sharon Shenberger of SHI Connections several times since she was referred to me by a couple of family members, and I find her to be easy to talk to, knowledgeable about health insurance options, and as patient as a saint. Not only has she been helpful during the open enrollment period, but throughout the year as well. When I have had questions, Sharon has contacted the insurance company for information then relayed the answer to me in layman’s terms or given me the name of the person I should contact. She follows up quickly and makes sure I understand the issues. If however I forget how it all fits together, Sharon doesn’t make me feel foolish for asking the same question again. Sharon was recommended to us when my mom moved from Ca to Wi in June 2024. We were able to set up her supplemental healthcare plan fitted for her needs. Sharon has been very prompt with all communication, and very prepared for my questions. Last year I tried an Advantage plan and decided to switch back to a Select policy. Sharon backed me up getting back into the plan I wanted, a part D policy, and everything was done smoothly.
